Built on Experience. Led with Accountability.
LoCo General Construction is a self-performing commercial general contractor serving retailers, property managers, facilities teams, and multi-location businesses throughout California and Arizona.
The company was founded by Larry O’Briley with a straightforward idea: clients deserve a construction partner who takes direct responsibility for the work.
That means clear communication. Reliable people in the field. Consistent execution. And a team that remains accountable from the first walkthrough through the final punch list.

Meet Our Founder
Larry O’Briley has spent more than 20 years building, managing, and delivering projects in environments where quality, timing, and communication all matter.
Throughout his career, Larry saw the same problems occur too often in construction: projects passed through layers of unfamiliar subcontractors, important details lost between teams, schedules slipping without clear answers, and clients left trying to determine who was responsible.
He believed there was a better way to operate.
Larry built LoCo General Construction around direct accountability and practical field execution. Instead of acting only as a coordinator between a client and a long list of outside vendors, LoCo maintains an experienced in-house team capable of self-performing key portions of the work.
This gives Larry and his team greater control over quality, scheduling, communication, and the overall client experience.
It also means that when LoCo puts its name on a project, the company takes ownership of the result.
Construction Should Not Feel Like a Chain of Handoffs
Clients should not have to chase multiple contractors for updates.
Facilities teams should not have to explain the same problem to a new crew every time work is needed.
Retail operators should not have to choose between speed and workmanship.
Larry created LoCo to provide clients with one dependable team and one clear point of accountability.
The company’s self-performing model allows LoCo to respond quickly, maintain consistent standards, and keep communication connected from the office to the jobsite. When specialized trades are required, LoCo coordinates them within a clearly managed scope instead of leaving the client to manage separate vendors.
The objective is not simply to finish the assignment.
It is to make the entire process more dependable for the people responsible for the property, the schedule, and the outcome.
Leadership That Stays Connected to the Work
Larry’s role does not end when a proposal is accepted.
He remains closely connected to the company’s projects, crews, clients, and operating standards. He understands that the reputation of LoCo is built through thousands of individual decisions: how the team communicates, how the site is maintained, how unexpected issues are handled, and whether the finished work meets the standard that was promised.
That hands-on mindset shapes the way LoCo operates.

Every Project Carries Our Name
For Larry, construction is more than completing a scope of work.
Some projects become part of the neighborhoods, businesses, and institutions that define a community. Others help a client open its doors, protect its brand, serve its customers, or keep an important location operating.
That creates a responsibility to build with care.
Larry expects the LoCo team to take pride in every detail, every finish, and every decision made onsite. The company does not view clean execution as an optional extra. It is part of what the client is hiring LoCo to provide.
When the schedule is demanding and the pressure is high, that standard does not change.
That is what it means to build the LoCo way.
One Team. Direct Accountability.
